ध्रुव जुरैल: कारगिल युध्द सैनिक का बेटा क्रिकेट में रोशन कर रहा है आगरा का नाम
अंडर – 19 यूथ एशियन चैंपियनशिप जीतने के बाद पहली बार कल शाम 17 सितंबर को जब ध्रुव जुरैल आगरा पहुंचे तो उनके निवास डिफेंस कॉलोनी के लोगों ने उनका भव्य स्वागत किया। उनके कोच परवनेंद्र यादव का भी इस अवसर स्वागत किया गया। ध्रुव जुरैल ने कहा कि उनकी सफलता का श्रेय उनके पिता नेम सिंह जुरैल और मां रजनी जुरैल को है। शहरवासियों का आशीर्वाद भी हमेशा उनके साथ रहा। ध्रुव के कॉलोनी पहुंचने पर युवाओं में उनसे हाथ मिलाने को लेकर काफी उत्सुकता दिखाई दी। इस माहौल को देख उनके माता – पिता के अलावा कॉलोनी के लोग भी काफी भावुक हो गए। ध्रुव के कोच परवेंद्र यादव के पास कहने के लिए शब्द नहीं थे। ढोल – नगाड़ों की थाप पर कॉलोनी के युवाओं से लेकर महिलाओं और पुरुषों ने काफी देर तक नृत्य कर शहर के लाल का स्वागत करके अपनी खुशी का इज़हार किया। इस दौरान कॉलोनी के कई लोगों ने ध्रुव के संदर्भ में अपने पुराने संस्मरण भी सुनाए। उन्होंने कहा कि ध्रुव में क्रिकेट का जुनून था, वह लोग काफी पहले से देख रहे थे।
14 सितंबर को जब ध्रुव जुरैल के नेतृत्व में भारतीय अंडर 19 क्रिकेट टीम ने लगातार दूसरी बार एशिया कप जीता तो आगरा में खुशी की लहर दौड़ गई थी। श्रीलंका के कोलंबो में रोमांचक फाइनल में टीम इंडियाने बांग्लादेश को 5 रन से हरा दिया। टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजीकरते हुए भारत ने 32.4 ओवर में 106 रन बनाए। जवाब में बांग्लादेश ने शुरुआती 4 विकेट महज 16 रन पर खो दिए और 101 रन पर ऑल आउट हो गई।
आगरा में खुशी के वातावरण का कारण था, कप्तान ध्रुव का आगरा वासी होना। आगरा के आकाश पर अचानक ध्रुव एक चमकता सितारा बन गए।
ध्रुव करगिल में भारत को जीत दिलाने वाले जाट रेजीमेंट के नेम सिंह जुरैल के सुपुत्र हैं। नेम सिंह को उम्मीद है कि उनका बेटा एक दिन देश के लिए क्रिकेट में बड़ा नाम करेगा। उनका कहना है कि ‘मैंने करगिल युद्ध के दौरान देश की सेवा की थी और अब मेरा बेटा क्रिकेट खेलकर देश की सेवा कर रहा है। मैं तो चाहत था कि वह पढ़ाई खत्म करने के बाद सेना में भर्ती हो जाए, लेकिन क्रिकेट में बढ़ती दिलचस्पी ने उन्हें क्रिकेटर बना दिया।”
21 गेंदों में शतक बनाया था
साल 2014 में ध्रुव ने स्कूली टीमों के मध्य हुई चैंपियनशिप से अपने क्रिकेट करियर की शुरुआत की थी। इसी साल अंडर-17 स्कूल नेशनल क्रिकेट चैंपियनशिप में ध्रुव को टी-20 के सर्वश्रेष्ठ बल्लेबाज के खिताब से नवाजा गया। साल 2018 के दौरान ध्रुव ने महज 21 गेंदों में शतक जड़कर सभी को हैरान कर दिया था। दिल्ली, आगरा और मध्य प्रदेश के बीच खेली गई टी-20 ट्राई सीरीज के एक मैच के दौरान ध्रुव ने यह कारनामा किया था।
साल 2015 में ध्रुव ने यूपी की ओर से अंडर-14 राज सिंह डूंगरपुर ट्रॉफी में फाइनल मैच में मध्य प्रदेश के खिलाफ शानदार 137 रनों की पारी खेली। इसके साथ ही विकेट के पीछे उन्होंने दस कैच भी पकड़े थे।
आगरा के अनेक युवक युवतियां क्रीड़ा क्षेत्र, विशेषकर क्रिकेट में शहर का नाम राष्ट्रीय व अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर कर रहे हैं। क्रिकेट से लेकर कॉर्टिंग रेस तक में खिलाड़ी शानदार प्रदर्शन कर देश-विदेश में शहर का नाम रोशन कर रहे हैं। भारतीय टी-20 क्रिकेट टीम के सदस्य दीपक चाहर, राहुल चाहर, भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम की सदस्य पूनम यादव, दीप्ति शर्मा और नेशनल कॉर्टिंग रेस चैंपियन शहान अली मोहसिन आज जिस मुकाम पर हैं, उसको पाने के लिए उन्होंने कठिन मेहनत की है। आगरा का युवा जगत इनसे अवश्य प्रेरणा ले व भविष्य में औऱ भी आगरा के लाल देश विदेश में शहर की कीर्ति पताका फहराएं ऐसी हमारी कामना है।

Dhruv Jural: The son of Kargil war soldier is making Agra Proud in Cricket
When Dhruv Jurail arrived in Agra for the first time after winning the Under-19 Youth Asian Championship on 17 September last evening, he was given a grand welcome by the people of his residence, Defense Colony. His coach Parvendra Yadav was also welcomed on the occasion. Dhruv Jurail said that his success is attributed to his father Naam Singh Jurail and mother Rajni Jurail. The blessings of the townspeople were always with him. Upon reaching Dhruv’s colony, there was a great eagerness among the youth to join hands with him. Seeing this environment, besides his parents, the people of the colony also became very emotional. Dhruv coach Parvendra Yadav did not have words to say. Dhol – On the beat of the drums, women and men of the colony, from the youth of the colony, danced long enough to express their happiness by welcoming the Lal of the city. During this time many people of the colony also recounted their old memoirs in reference to Dhruva. He said that Dhruv had a passion for cricket, he was watching people long back.
On September 14, when the Indian U-19 cricket team led by Dhruv Jural won the Asia Cup for the second time in a row, there was a wave of joy in Agra. Team Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh by 5 runs in a thrilling final in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Batting first after winning the toss, India scored 106 runs in 32.4 overs. In reply, Bangladesh lost the initial 4 wickets for just 16 runs and were all out for 101 runs.
The reason for the atmosphere of happiness in Agra was the presence of Captain Dhruv in Agra. Suddenly the poles on the sky of Agra became a shining star.
Dhruv is the son of Naam Singh Jurail of Jat Regiment who won India in Kargil. Nem Singh hopes that his son will one day make a big name in cricket for the country. He says that ‘I served the country during the Kargil war and now my son is serving the country by playing cricket. I wanted him to join the army after finishing his studies, but the increasing interest in cricket made him a cricketer. “
Had scored a century in 21 balls
In 2014, Dhruv started his cricketing career with the championship between school teams. In the same year, Dhruv was awarded the title of best T20 batsman at the Under-17 School National Cricket Championship. During the year 2018, Dhruv surprised everyone by scoring a century in just 21 balls. Dhruva did this feat during a match of T20 tri series played between Delhi, Agra and Madhya Pradesh.
In the year 2015, Dhruv scored a brilliant 137 runs against Madhya Pradesh in the final match for UP Under-14 Raj Singh Dungarpur Trophy. Along with this, he also caught ten catches behind the wicket.
Many young girls of Agra are naming the city at national and international level in the sports field, especially cricket. Players are illuminating the name of the city in India and abroad, from cricket to the courting race. Indian T20 cricket team members Deepak Chahar, Rahul Chahar, members of the Indian women’s cricket team Poonam Yadav, Deepti Sharma and National Corting Race Champion Shahan Ali Mohsin have worked hard to achieve the position they are today.
