एक बार फिर सेब से ज्यादा महंगी हुई प्याज: दिसंबर के पहले सप्ताह तक बढ़ेंगे भाव
आगरा में प्याज के भाव एक बार फिर सेब से भी ज्यादा महंगे हो गए हैं। पिछले एक सप्ताह में प्याज के थोक दाम करीब 10₹ बढ़े हैं तो खुदरा प्याज 60₹ किलो से बढ़ कर 80₹ किलो तक पहुंच गई है। जबकि सेब अभी 60 से 70₹ प्रति किलोग्राम के भाव से बिक रहा है। दीपावली से पूर्व थोक में प्याज 30 से 35 ₹ किलो और खुदरा में 40 से 50₹ किलो मिल रही थी। परंतु महाराष्ट्र और राजस्थान में बारिश के कारण प्याज की फसल की बर्बादी और कर्नाटक में प्याज की फसल बर्बाद होने के कारण आगरा में प्याज की आमद कम हो गई। अभी यहां राजस्थान की अलवर। मंडी से प्याज आ रही है जो कि महंगी है।
प्याज की बढ़ती कीमतों से सरकार भी चिंतित है और भाव कम किए जाने के उपाय भी किए जा रहे हैं। राजधानी दिल्ली सहित उत्तर भारत के तमाम राज्यों में प्याज की कीमतें 80 रुपये प्रति किग्रा के भाव पर पहुंचने के बाद सरकार की नींद खुल गई है। परंतु कीमतें दिसंबर के पहले सप्ताह तक कम होने के आसार नजर नहीं आ रहे।सरकार ने घरेलू बाजार में प्याज की आपूर्ति सुधार के लिए धूम्र – उपचार (फ्यूमिगेशन) सहित कई नियमों को 30 नवंबर तक लचीला करने का एलान किया है। इसके साथ ही चार देशों अफगानिस्तान, इजिप्ट, तुर्की और ईरान से आयात करने का फैसला लिया गया। सरकार द्वारा पहले से मंगाई गई 2,500 टन प्याज की पहली खेप भी 12 नवंबर को भारत पहुंच जाने की आशा है।
सरकार भले ही अगले हफ्ते तक 2,500 टन आयातित प्याज बाजार में आने की पहली बात कह रही है, लेकिन इसके बाजार में जल्दी आने की संभावना नहीं है। इस साल बाढ़, वर्षा की अनियमितता और साइक्लोन के चलते प्याज के उत्पादन का में 30 से 40 फीसदी की गिरावट आई है। महाराष्ट्र में 70 फीसदी प्याज की फसल खराब हो गई है। महीने के अंत तक राजस्थान से ही प्याज मिलेगा। रोजाना प्याज की मांग दो लाख टन है, जिसकी पूर्ति फिलहाल आसान नहीं होगी।
उपभोक्ता मामलों के मंत्रालय के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, दिल्ली में प्याज का खुदरा मूल्य 80 रुपये किलो, चेन्नई में 70 रुपये किलो और मुंबई में 50 रुपये किलो चल रहा है। गरीब मजदूर, किसान प्याज और गुड़ से रोटी खा कर अपना पेट भरते हैं। लेकिन प्याज की कीमतें इसी प्रकार चढ़ती रहीं तो दिसंबर के पहले सप्ताह तक गरीबों की आंख से बिना प्याज काटे ही आंसू निकलने लगेंगे।

According to data from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, the retail price of onion is running at Rs 80 per kg in Delhi, Rs 70 per kg in Chennai and Rs 50 per kg in Mumbai. Poor laborers, farmers fill their stomachs by eating bread with onions and jaggery. But if onion prices keep going up like this, by the first week of December, the poor people will start tearing without cutting onions.
